It's only 3:00?

We ran a family 5k this morning at 8 am at Hains Point which was a lot of fun. I ran for the first time since Lucy's birth! It is amazing how long the days can seem when you are mom to an infant. Because we were up at 5:45 am to feed baby and ourselves, get ready and get downtown by race time, it feels like it should be bedtime already. Lucy did take a 2.5 hour nap this afternoon which allowed mom to nap and get ready while dad did the yard work. We even considered trying to find a babysitter to go out and enjoy the nice night sans wild child, but of course all childless people already have fun plans! Per usual, we will be out for dinner at 6 pm with the blue hairs and others brave enough to eat out w/babies :)
