It's Starting Now...

I have visions of Lucy laying on the bed in her room talking on the phone for hours in a few years. Or I guess texting, that's all kids do these days!!

Blackberries, and Little Else

Lucy is obsessed with picking blackberries in the backyard here. She stands at the gate to be let out to raid the bushes, crying "Bla Bay, Bla Bay!" Now of course when I bought her blackberries at the store, which were much sweeter than the wild, tart ones, she threw them to Maya, as she does with almost any type of food she's not familiar with. I am PRAYING for this next child to eat more things than Picky Lucy. All of you parents with kids who eat everything, you have no idea how good you have it!!

Swing

Lucy loves the swing in Granny's side yard. While this pic only has 3/4 of her head, its about the only pic I have of her in weeks where it's clear because the child is always on the move! Also, Her thighs look a bit chubby here too, so it is good to show that off.

Lucy vs. Maya

Lucy and Maya have a special relationship. Maya is about the most gentle dog in the world when it comes to kids. Lucy pulls, drags, rides her, she really could care less. It's pretty funny. We have discovered that Maya cries whenever she is not by Lucy. She always wants to bust into her room and sleep under her crib too. But the real reason she wants to hang by her is that Lucy usually drops a crumb or two (or just feeds her entire pieces of toast, etc.) and Maya is always hungry!!

Pymatuning

We had fun with granny Lauren and Pap Jimbo as well. The best part about it was that Jud came for a 24 hour visit while we were there!! It has been go, go, go since we arrived!

Erie Fun

We had a great time at a WELCOME Owen party the 4th weekend at Shirani's house. Here's Ellie explaining the architectural details of the Barbie mansion to Lucy and Leo.

Summer in Erie

We've been having fun here for the past week, huge rain storm this afternoon but hoping it makes for a long PM nap for Lucy. I have pics to post once I find the camera in the car!
