Every morning, someone is awake before 6 am, usually at 5:45...We come downstairs, make coffee, get some chocolate milk, and if it's baby J, I nurse him and try to get the sleepy seeds out of my eyes. I attempt to watch the news until Lucy vetoes it by saying. "Mommy, I don't want to watch the weather!" So I get to watch snippets of the Today show while she entertains herself with the iPad. Or finally I relent and let them watch Yo Gabba or Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. They both love TV...in these pics you can see them craning their necks to see the TV around my big head and camera shoved in their faces. Then I look at the clock and say to myself, How is it only 9 am!!??

On Foot!
Judson is crawling everywhere, standing on his own and really getting into everything (cords, steps, etc.) Lucy in this pic is talking into her pager from the doctors kit we got her. Who the heck even has or uses a pager anymore? In any event, she's talking into it like a phone and getting the instructions for attending to her ever-present and unwilling patient, Baby Jud. Poor little one gets his blood pressure and heart listened to her in a not so gentle way on a daily basis. It's pretty funny.
Dinnertime
It's really pure comedy at dinnertime here. We don't usually eat until after they've gone to bed because it's like a zoo here. Judson is SO noisy and is in the banging phase of life, Lucy is usually begging to watch Mickey Mouse Clubhouse or listen to Lady Gaga, Jud's checking texts on his phone and I'm usually one glass of wine deep trying to cook something healthy for us and something fattening for Lucy (see wine glass in left corner of photo). I really have sympathy for Kate plus 8 Minus Jon at mealtimes and wonder how in the hell she didn't completely lose her mind (well maybe she did).
Incredible Shrinking Daddy
Jud has been cruising along losing the lb's! Here are some pics of him with the monkeys in the stroller. Best part about a double stroller....when he takes them out for a run. We can attribute part of the success to pushing these 2 up some hills which is no easy task. Go Jud! He's also been training for an upcoming 5 and 10k....he's determined NOT to have Laura beat him ever again :)
