Lucy calls Judson "buddy" and is always asking him, "What's wrong Buddy?" "Need paci Buddy?" "Don't be sad Buddy!" It is so cute. This pic is funny because he is mid spit up, which is STILL going on a ton (WHEN does it end!?) and Lucy is overly hamming it up for the camera.

Nobody Puts Baby in the Corner

Except Lucy....Lucy's "naughty corner" is next to the Dustbuster in the kitchen. I guess she had discovered her baby doing something bad, because she was relegated to the corner for a few minutes herself.

Ferber. Night 1!

Judson has been waking up a lot more, so I'm using the Ferber method to get him to feed only once during the night. Here's my plan: Bedtime starts at 7, asleep by 7:30. 1st feeding allowed, midnight. Last night he woke at 11 and wanted to eat but we went back every 5-10 minutes to reassure him and he fussed until I finally fed him at 12. He woke at 2:30 and we did the same reassuring without picking him up (just putting the paci in) and he was back asleep by 3 am. He slept till 5:45 when he was completely busted out of his swaddle and happily kicking the crib railings! Going to attempt morning nap at 8 or 8:30.

First day of School!

Here's Lucy talking to Disco pup and Baby Doll about her first day of school. Is it me or does her face look almost CHUBBY in this one??! Don't fret, she's still under 24 lbs at 26 months old......anyway she LOVED it and there were no tears or whining. HOORAY! I feel like a new person and she's only been there two days.

Rockin' Saturday Night

Here's how we spent last Saturday night. Letting the kids tear apart our basement while we drank, ate pizza and played Wii Bowling. Oh and the kids got a few grapes, slimy turkey and some juice boxes. It doesn't get much better than this!

Just Checkin My Email Mom

Happy New Year!!

Judson is a very happy child! Sleeping has been mostly still one wake-up around 2, then up at 5ish.....maybe then he wakes up for the day at 6:30. Christmas was awesome...Judson met his wonderful Pap Jim and Grandma Lauren for the first time! We also had his baptism and I AM DONE entertaining for a while! One month till Florida....
