Lucy in a Box

Lucy is supposed to sleep in this thing when we go to Hilton Head next week. Why do I have a feeling none of us are going to get any sleep? The other pic is of her in her country club finest. Yesterday we went to an open house at Belle Haven CC in Alexandria so we had to put her in something fancy! If you see a small spot under her collar, it's because she puked on it as soon as I put it on. The funniest thing is that some lady there asked me if I made this dress/sewed the smocking on the front. Hah! I've been missing a button on my raincoat for 2 years now. If I can attach that I would be in business.

Lucy likes 2 things today, the Taggies book (but not the colored tags, rather the one that says Made in China or whatever), and playing "Where's Sock Kitty?"

Lucy and Friends

We had a fun day--neighborhood get-together w/kids, then brunch at the Lynch's. Here are some pics of me, Lee and Winnie (my former--SAD!--coworkers) and our little ones. If you can believe this, Lee's son Jeff (see pics) is one DAY older than Lucy. His head is bigger than her entire body! You can see his dad Tom trying to help him hold it up :) It won't be long before we are chasing these little ones around.

Vintage Happy Apple

Here's Lucy playing with the Happy Apple, her old, or "vintage" toy....it was mine. Granny has saved SOO many of my baby toys. One day, we will do a fashion show with her vintage wardrobe. Also, notice her Chinese booties, also a gift from Granny. This is a 9 month outfit! Grow Lucy grow! I can't keep up with her fast growing nails..see gash on her forehead :)

Nice Person Award

So on my way to pick up lunch at Harris Teeter for me and Laura, I somehow dropped my wallet in the parking lot. As I was going to pay, I realized it was gone. My cell phone then rang and a lady had found it and was trying to find me. Randomly my name and number were in there on a small Edelman contact # list!! THANK YOU lady, whoever you are! Note to all moms to be...put something in your wallet that says your name and #. MOM-nesia is a real conditon :)

Lucy y los Animales

We went to ZooAmerica in Hershey on Tuesday. I was disappointed we did not get to see any lions or polar bears, but since it is zooAMERICA as granny pointed out, they don't have those critters. Lucy liked the turtle and I was obsessed with this croc. We are back in Arlington now and going to visit Aunt Laura with lunch since poor dear is on bed rest and the twins aren't due until June!!

We are at Granny's so no pics will be posted for a few days. Off to Chocolate World today! PS. We are making progress on sleeping. I will not say any more for fear of jinxing it!!
