Ropin' Babies

Lucy and Judson love the jump rope. I know. Probably not the safest toy for them to have but they play together hilariously with it for a while till she tries to choke him....then that indicates her little game is over.

Daddy's Birthday

Here we are celebrating 38 years of greatness with banana pudding! Thanks to Elizabeth our neighbor/photographer. And that's her little one Peyton in the picture.

9 Months!

Judson weighed in at 20lbs 10oz and 27 1/2 inches long, head circ. 18 1/2 at his 9 month appointment. That puts him at 50th percentile for weight and 30th for height. So he's growing well, yeah hoo! Most all of his photos are in the high chair, so its no surprise that he's packing on the lbs. I bet Lucy weighed that much at 15 months!?

4th of July @ BHCC

We had a great time with the Turnbulls! Too bad I dont have any pics of L and Peyton playing. They really had a blast. Judson was so tired out from eating cornbread and fried chicken that he snoozed until the fireworks began and watched them with eyes the size of saucers. Lucy ate the frosting off of 2 cupcakes. Yep, that's it.

Me Want Food!

Judson LOVES food, anything, anytime, anywhere. I could not have two more opposite children when it comes to eating. In the last week we've started real people table food in earnest, and he's devoured chicken, meatballs, blueberries, smoothies, grilled cheese, pork tenderloin, rice, pasta, sweet potato fries and more. He never seems to be full! Here he is at belle haven munching on some fried chicken. Yum!

Play-Dough

I had an out of body Martha Stewart experience last week and made Lucy play-dough during her nap, so she woke up to this fun surprise. It was actually easy and I don't have to worry if Judson eats it since its flour, water, salt and cream of tartar!

Toothy Grin

Here they are! the 2 bottom teeth are in. He doesn't seem to be bothered by teething. He is wearing his one and only smocked, girly outfit!!

Boxes and Wheels

If there's something dangerous or not allowed, it only makes them want to get into it more. Forget the picnic table, I'll take the box it came in. Why ride in the stroller when I can stick my fingers in the wheels??!

Morning Routine

Every morning, someone is awake before 6 am, usually at 5:45...We come downstairs, make coffee, get some chocolate milk, and if it's baby J, I nurse him and try to get the sleepy seeds out of my eyes. I attempt to watch the news until Lucy vetoes it by saying. "Mommy, I don't want to watch the weather!" So I get to watch snippets of the Today show while she entertains herself with the iPad. Or finally I relent and let them watch Yo Gabba or Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. They both love TV...in these pics you can see them craning their necks to see the TV around my big head and camera shoved in their faces. Then I look at the clock and say to myself, How is it only 9 am!!??

Pool Party

We went to Lucy's friend Morgan's 3rd birthday party and had a blast. They had a bouncy gym and baby pools all around. She is here in a pull-up but mostly she was naked. She has also learned and likes to pee in the grass!

Oh, the Places He'll Go!

Judson is on the move in a major way! He is into plastic bags, opening boxes, chewing on anything that crosses his path and still spitting up along the way.

WrestleMania

These two love rough housing. We try to tell Lucy to be gentle, soft touches, etc. but he LOVES it when she wrestles him to the ground and he's beginning to fight back. He is a pretty sturdy little guy as a result of her beating him up on a daily basis. It's hard for Lucy to understand she might hurt him when he laughs and smiles the entire time she's pounding on him!

Big Sister

Burbon Street Baby

Judson LOVES the beads I brought home from my girls weekend. He's been parading around in just his diapers lately. So cute.
